Esteyco and the architectural firm Martínez-Lapeña - Elias Torres has presented the adaptation project of the Rovira Tunnel to the FAD Awards (external space category) and to the European Awards for Urban Public Space which will take place in May and June 2012 respectively.

El proyecto de innovación "Diseño de nuevas estructuras para viaductos integrales de ferrocarril" impulsado por Esteyco Guernika cuenta , a través del programa Gaitek, con el apoyo del Departamento de Industria, Innovación, Comercio y Turismo del Gobierno Vasco.
Con la materialización de este nuevo proyecto de I+D+i continúa el trabajo y la apuesta de Esteyco por las estructuras integrales en las que se eliminan, en la medida de lo posible, juntas y aparatos de apoyo. Esta nueva concepción presenta claras ventajas frente los viaductos "tradicionales", entre ellas, la reducción de los costes de mantenimiento, clave para asegurar la sostenibilidad de nuestras infraestructuras.

Ya aceptada para los puentes de carretera, ahora nos toca pensar en su aplicación al ferrocarril (de alta velocidad). Este proyecto será un buen marco para ello.

Esteyco Colombia realizará los trabajos de ingeniería del futuro centro comercial Florencia en el departamento de Caquetá en Colombia. El centro comercial que contará con 30.000 m2 de superficie se distribuirá en 2 plantas. La primera planta con locales comerciales y la segunda planta destinada a zonas de juegos. El proyecto también contará con una zona ajardinada

On July 27th, the City Hall of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, opened to the public the viaduct walkway and the lifts that provide access to the lower level. In short, works will be finished and will give full access to traffic on the board and the accesses to the lower level

In the issue published in August 2011 of the journal Structural Engineering International from IABSE, includes the article "A Spanish perspective on integral high-speed railway bridges” written from and with the experience of ESTEYCO. In it the authors, Javier Rui-Wamba, Carlos García Acón and Imma Estrada, share ideas and new knowledgement about the conception, design, project and construction of these innovative structures in their application to the rail.

The work that is collected is the result of the accumulated experience of ESTEYCO in developing projects and works in integral bridges, road and rail, as well as the results achieved during the development of the R + D + I project "Security and functionality of the integraal railway bridges against accidental actions: Research to establish a design criteria and construction ", along with the UPC and Principia, which has been supported by the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
